How to ensure that the artwork I buy is genuine?
ArtDeme delivers you a certificate of authenticity as well as a bill when you buy an artwork, certifying its quality and genuineness.
How do you set the artworks’ prices?
ArtDeme negotiates the fairest price with the artists. Customers do not pay any commission fee. Retail prices include VAT if applicable, yet they exclude shipping fees.
How do you select the artworks?
ArtDeme is always looking for new talented artists. Every artwork is carefully selected according to our own criteria with originality figuring on top.
How can I buy on ArtDeme?
First, you have to be logged in your personal account. Then you will need to add the selected artwork to you cart and proceed to payment. Starting from the moment we receive your payment, we will wait for the artist’s answer regarding the availability. If the piece of your wish is effectively available, your bank account will be debited, and the artwork will be shipped to you within 5 days.
How do I get my purchase shipped?
Once you have added the artwork to your cart, we will wait for up to 4 days for the artist’s answer regarding its availability. If the piece of your wish is effectively available, your bank account will be debited, and the artwork will be shipped to you within 5 days. Our shipping collaborator will schedule the parcel delivery to your house: you will pay the shipping fee while the artist pays for the wrapping.
ArtDeme will email you all the details regarding the delivery: name of the shipping collaborator, parcel ID, and time slot of the delivery. You will also be able to follow on the shipping progress from you ArtDeme customer account.
What happens if the artwork I added to my cart is not available anymore?
Once you have added the artwork to your cart, we will wait for up to 4 days for the artist’s answer regarding its availability. If the piece of your wish is not available, your bank account will be refunded the whole amount and the order will be canceled.
What happens if my purchase is damaged?
ArtDeme promotes a high-quality service, our artists are committed to offering you their work at its best state. If the artwork is effectively damaged, please let us know here.
How do I manage to ship the Artwork back to the artist?
Once delivered to you, the artwork can be shipped back within 14 days. We will accept the return of the artwork if it arrived damaged, or if didn’t match what you ordered. You don’t need to give any further details and you won’t be asked to pay additional fees.
If you effectively wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you will have to pay for the wrapping fees. ArtDeme will schedule the parcel collection before shipping it back to the artist and reimburse you within 21 days the parcel collection.
Can I sell artworks on ArtDeme?
Yes, you can submit us your collection, we will exhibit it on your behalf. In order to submit your artworks, it is imperative that the work is in excellent condition and that you have a certificate of authenticity.

What is a private collection?
A private collection is a collection of artworks by one or more artists, owned by only one collector. The works from a private collection are guaranteed in excellent condition and sold with a certificate of authenticity ensuring the origin of the artwork.
